Discover Ax-les-Thermes
A village of character and spa resort famous, Ax-les-Thermes is crossed by the three rivers Ariège, Lauze and Oriège. This city of water also shelters on its territory several hot springs. On the heights of the town is the ski resort Ax 3 domains, very appreciated in winter.
The gondola lift also operates in July and August for the summer outdoor activities. The thermal playground of the Couloubret baths is a must in the village. In the town center, don’t miss the Ladres basin, fed by a source of water gushing out of the ground at nearly 80°.
Other remarkable places in Ax-les-Thermes include the castle of Villemur, the casino of the early 20th century, and a rich religious heritage composed of the church of Saint-Vincent, the chapel of Saint-Jérôme and an oratory to the Virgin. Finally, the Ax-les-Thermes state forest is a precious natural space, starting point for many walks and hikes.
The Thermal Baths of Ax-les-Thermes

Open every day from 10 am in high season and until 7:30 or 8:30 pm.
